Information about branding and contacting stakeholders
Estyn, the education and training inspectorate for Wales, is reviewing its external communications and its brand to understand what our stakeholders think of Estyn and what their understanding is of the services we provide.
As part of this review, Estyn has appointed a branding consultancy, Brand 68, to speak with some of our professional stakeholders to determine their views of Estyn and the work it carries out.
Over the next week or two, a member of the Brand 68 team will be in touch with our stakeholders to arrange a convenient time to talk about the audit and ask a few questions. The interview shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.
It is only with the invaluable input from our key stakeholders that Estyn is able to develop and refine the ways in which it communicates externally with its stakeholders.
Estyn would like to thank all our stakeholders in advance for their help and cooperation.

Guidance on Estyn inspections during a Flu Pandemic
Introduction
The government advises that, wherever possible, business should operate as usual during a flu pandemic. Estyn will remain operational during a flu pandemic unless staff shortages or other local factors, such as a failure in the transport networks or critical infrastructure, make it impossible to continue operating. Estyn has business continuity plans in place that would be activated as and when a pandemic escalates in severity.
