Corporate Plans and Resource Accounts
Estyn produces a rolling three-year corporate plan each financial year that sets out its contribution to the improvement of education and training in Wales. The plan is produced in accordance with Section 87 of the Learning and Skills Act 2000. You can access the latest plan from this page.
Estyn is also required to produce financial statements under Schedule 6(5) of the Government of Wales Act 1998 and in accordance with an Accounts Direction issued by HM Treasury. A copy of the Accounts Direction can be obtained from Estyn's Cardiff office. The latest Resource Accounts Statement produced by Estyn can be viewed from this page.
Taken together, the relevant Corporate Plan and Resource Accounts Statement for any particular year provide a record of Estyn's activities and the resources used to undertake those activities in that period.
With effect from 2005, Estyn will also produce an Annual Board Report each year, describing the work carried out within the last financial year, ending in March.
