Careers Wales companies
Estyn carries out inspections of Careers Wales companies on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government under section 34 of the Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998. The reports are published by the Assembly. Under the current agreement Estyn inspects all Careers Wales companies during a six year cycle, and carries out thematic inspections at the request of the Welsh Assembly Government.
From September 2004, all inspections are being conducted in accordance with Estyn’s Common Inspection Framework for Education and Training in Wales and the Guidance on the Inspection of Careers Companies.
