Work-based learning

Estyn carries out inspections of vocational training funded by the Welsh Assembly Government through The Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills.. We carry these out under section 77 of the Learning and Skills Act 2000. There are in the region of 80 providers in Wales. The current six-year inspection cycle began in September 2004 and will end in August 2010.
